Welcome to EoN...

Welcome to EoN, which stands for Eye On Nation.

EoN is a webMagazine which serves as a platform for the staff and pupils of Zhenghua Secondary School to post articles and/or comments about school activities and/or issues pertaining to National Education, Social Studies, History and even Geography! We hope to raise the level of awareness and encourage active citizenship among our staff and pupils through this initiative.

Join us on this journey. It may be long and tedious, but good company expedites the process and lessens the load. =)

Looking forward to your comments and active participation!

Changi NE Trail

The Changi National Education Trail was incorporated into the Secondary 1 orientation camp from 17 - 18 January 2011. During the trail, the Secondary 1 students visited the following historical sites:

1) Changi Chapel and Museum

2)      Changi Prison

3)      Johore Battery

4)      Civil Defence Volunteer Training Centre

5)      Changi Beach Massacre

These places were chosen because they remind the students of Singapore’s past and present vulnerabilities. In addition, the trail also emphasizes the need for the students to be united and resilient, and not to take things for granted.
